Apple cider vinegar has lots of beauty uses, but when you add it to bath water, it helps tone and firm the skin, relieve dryness, remove skin flakiness, and even soothe itchiness and rashes. Look for dark vinegar, possibly with some residue, which is harmless and actually contains even higher amounts of phytonutrients as compared to transparent light vinegars. You can use all three herbs in equal proportions.
4 cups apple cider vinegar
4 cups green tea prepared from 4 tea sachets
5 tablespoons fresh rosemary, peppermint, or lavender
4 drops lemon verbena essential oil
5 drops geranium essential oil
3 drops lavender essential oil
3 drops neroli essential oil
Steep four packets of green tea in boiling water. Cover and set aside. Crush the herbs of your choice, using pestle and mortar. Pour the vinegar into a large bottle, add the herbs and the tea. Shake well until herbs are thoroughly coated with liquid. Close tightly and store in a dark place.
Add one cup of fragrant vinegar to your bath water.
